Find your city before choosing a target

Sign in to Crownlands with the Google account you intend to keep using. A new ruler starts with a Level 1 Main City on an admitting New Lands map. The Core is not the starting pool. Use the home control or the pinned Main City in your city list if the map opens somewhere unfamiliar.

Open the city and read three things: its stationed troops, its Gold production and its troop production. Gold belongs to your kingdom; new troops stay at the city that produces them. That distinction explains why a healthy total at the top of the screen can coexist with a weak local garrison.

Make one affordable decision

Compare the next city upgrade with the Gold you would have left afterward. The best first purchase depends on the map around you; there is no reason to press MAX simply because it is available. Keep enough flexibility for the actions you are about to take.

Before moving soldiers, decide how many should remain at home. A troop in a march cannot defend its source. If you cannot explain what the destination gives you or how the source will stay defended, postpone the order. A quiet first session can still produce a stronger kingdom.

Read one report all the way through

Choose an eligible nearby target and send a scout. The game chooses the nearest reachable eligible origin and uses one troop. Wait for arrival, then open the report. Check the target, owner, timestamp, wall and soldiers separately.

The report describes the moment the scout arrived. It does not freeze that target until your army reaches it. Reopen the attack panel to read the actual journey and current restrictions. You do not need to launch an attack just to finish this introduction. Understanding why an attack looks unsafe is useful progress.

Collect what you have actually earned

Open Daily Login and inspect today’s reward. New tracks have 30 login days; an older saved track may still be finishing its earlier schedule. Daily Quests are a separate system with three tasks for the UTC day. Read their requirements before changing your plan to pursue them.

A quest reward is not a reason to spend an army on a target you would otherwise avoid. Claim completed tasks and look at the remaining ones. If a task does not fit your session, the available reroll applies to one unfinished quest.

Leave with a short next-session plan

Check Kingdom Activity before closing the game. Distinguish marching troops, assembling rallies and stationed reinforcements. Note where each force is going and when it will arrive. Reloading or closing the tab does not cancel a server-confirmed march.

An illustrative first-session plan might end with one city upgrade, a saved scout report and a reserve still at home. On your next visit, read Welcome Back and Reports, then refresh the city panel before spending again. The shared realm continues while you are away; your earlier picture of the map may have changed.
